Our History
Mckay Mortgages was established in 1983 by Richard McKay (who is still with us today) as a small company with a staff of just two people. Our original office was small by comparison, in the basement of a house, and we only had one phone! However over the last twenty-plus years, we have enjoyed continued success in helping our clients in the mortgage business, and have grown to be one of the largest lenders of private funds in Canada. Our commitment to integrity and solid advice in the financial lending business has created strong bonds and excellent working relationships with a wide variety of institutional lenders, thereby strengthening the value of the services we offer to our clients.
